Process Instruments (Pi) is excited to have reached the Lancashire Business View Red Rose Awards 2017

Pi has been shortlisted for three awards at the Red Rose Awards, where Lancashire businesses are celebrated.

• Engineering Business Award
  In November 2016 a regular customer rang with an engineering problem. The engineering and chemistry challenge was to get chlorine from a vessel headspace into solution so we could measure it using an existing device. The finished product took two weeks from concept to delivery and required coordinating between the engineers (who led the project), the chemists and the firmware engineers all in compliance with our ISO9001 certification.
• Innovative Business Award
  Innovation is deliberately embedded in Pi as a culture rather than an add-on process or a serendipitous accident. Every colleague is encouraged to innovate.
• International Achievement Award
  Pi doesn’t have an ‘export’ department. Exporting is so integral to everything we do that Pi just has customers. Some of our customers are in the UK, (approximately 40%), but most are outside the UK.
